A Barbie Dream Land!
Took a road trip through Eastern Texas crossing the Mississippi River
at Vicksburg. This is where Ulysses Grant defeated the Confederate Army
in the Civil War.
We crossed the top of Louisiana through Monroe (Duck Dynasty)
and followed the Natchez Trace Parkway south to Baton Rough.
Enjoyed the city of New Orleans. Here a ferry boat is
touring the Mississippi River.
I had a fun time taking a cooking class where we made
Gumbo, Jambalaya, Bread Pudding, and Pralines.
It was so interesting learning about the Cajin & Creole Cooking.
This is the street car we rode from the French Quarters to our Hotel.
This is the store front of the New Orleans School of Cooking.
Did I mention how much I fun I had!!!
We drove as far south on the Mississippi Delta until we ran out of road!
The level of the River is higher than the land we were driving on.
The levee's keep the water off the land.
Will went fishing on the Bayou while I was having fun at the Cooking School!
