Mike is in the Sao Paulo Brazil MTC

Mike entered the Sao Paulo Brazil MTC today, April 18, 2012

He flew with 30 other missionaries from Atlanta in 9 hours.

He called from Atlanta and said, "It's going to be great!"

We are so proud of you Mike, You are doing a great work!

Bonding time

Mike went with Will every Wednesday and did two sessions while Will worked his morning shift. Everyone at the Temple loved Mike and wish him well as he serves his mission!

Mike was set apart as a Missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

by Pres. Wayne Tew. Bishop Gardner came to be a part of Mike's ordination.

Mike was given a beautiful blessing. Mike has the distinstion of being the Missionary that has waited the longest to go after he got his call! Lesson learned: Patience!

Salt Lake Temple

Mike & I did a live session @ the Salt Lake Temple.

Afterwards we took some pictures around the Temple.

General Conference April 2012

We attended the Sunday Afternoon Session of General Conference.

We went early and got great seats !

Susan & Bob went with us. It was a cool, rainy Spring Day.

It was really special to see all the General Authorities, esp. Pres. Monson.

The Tab Choir is always thrilling to hear.

Seminary Scavenger Hunt

I hid clue from the Old Testament around our Chapel.

It was the Girls vs Boys.

I think the boys mixed up some of the girls clues so of course they won!

I had candy hidden all over the front like where the Children of Israel brought their offereing to the front of the Tabernacle! It was fun!
