Mike's 17th Birthday

Getting ready to blow out 7 Candles for the 7 years Mike has been a teenager.
We had friends over to celebrate and eat a Ham & Funeral Potato Dinner, topped off with a Funfetti Cake & Ice Cream. Mike scored some more clothes and sunglasses.

Quick trip to Happy Valley

Brooklyn was my best friend as long as her Mommy & Daddy were close by! She liked helping me make Christmas Carmels, Peppermint Truffles, & Double Delight Peanut Butter Cookies. It was a "SWEET" Trip. Kiley & I got a new pair of "Uggs" Now I know how to keep my feet warm in Utah and hopefully not fall down! Amy is such a good "Mommy" Brooklyn & London are always dressed so cute. Amy had their home all decorated for Christmas. She is a great Homemaker too!
Jeff was in a BYU Volleyball Tournament. He he is in the Starting Line Up of one of the games.
They just introduced him, so he is stepping out to wave.
I got these pictures of Jeff in action. He is amazing to watch.
Jeff has 17 credits and doing very well in his classes, Chemistry is even coming along!
Kiley is the perfect wife for Jeff.
Jeff has a great bunch of teammates. What a neat experience he is having!
Kiley & I watched all the games together. Amy, Steve, Brooklyn, & London came to one game.
London was more interested in climbing to the top of all the bleachers in the SFH and dancing to the music they would play between serves. London is a little doll.

We are Thankful

Is that Mike? Yes, he dyed his hair black along with his friend Cameron Olsen.
It was such a warm balmy day, we had to get out and enjoy. Then get home to watch BYU beat Utah in football!
We played our traditional round of golf @ the Angel Park Putting Course.
Jeff beat us all! Will got a hole in one! Kiley almost got a hole in one too!
Kiley & I had fun dipping "Truffles" and making Double Delight Peanut Butter cookies.
She is a darling girl, so happy to have her in our family.
We played some of our traditional games. Here is the podium for the dart game! Dad won, with Matt in 2nd and Jeffy Joe wiping up the rear! We also played a few games of "Pool" which of course Jeff cleaned everybody's clock
Our Thanksgiving Dinner. We used the timer on the camera to take our picture. After we took the picture the batteries went dead so we couldn't take a 2nd picture. Dead batteries are the story of my life. Every time we take a picture it happens. Anyway, we had a great dinner with our traditional turkey & sauage dressing, cranberry/strawberry/banana jello, celery w/ cheese, sweet potato pie, homemade rolls w/ honey butter, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes & gravy and of course pumpkin pie! It was nice to be together. We even had warm balmy weather!

"Double Celebration"

We are excited to be celebrating Jeff & Kiley's marriage and Mike's Eagle.
Jeff & Kiley will be coming home for Thanksgiving. So looking forward to having them come!
Jeff & Kiley are the cutest couple!
My dear friend Suzanne designed this invitation for me. I love it! She is such a doll to help me.
Suzanne is young enough to be my daughter, but we have really bonded since she moved into our Ward. I am especially thrilled for her because she just found out she is pregnant. I think I am as excited as she is!

Harley Girl

Will's latest toy, a Harley Davidson. Lucky me, I get to ride along! We had a gorgeous day and took a ride to see the construction of the new bridge over the Colorado River @ Hoover Dam. Brand new roads are being built from Nevada and Arizona to meet @ the new bridge. Quite the engineering wonder!
We rode with our friends Wendy & Donnell to Willow Beach. It was a beautiful day!
We enjoyed a Buffet @ the Rail Road Pass Casino to top it off!

Our Last Meeting as a Relief Society Presidency

What a bunch of special friends! Since I had left the Ward a few months earlier and Sharon, Suzanne, & Connie were recently released, we met for lunch to bring closure to this special time we served the Valley Vista Ward together. These will always be special memories for me.

Lake Powell

I hiked the "Hole In the Wall" as a young girl with Aunt Susan's Gourmet Group. It was in the 1960's before the water came up so high. Today, the water is so high there is only a short distance to hike. Walter Lyman (a relative) helped guide the Mormon's down through this cut in the wall. This group of people later settled Blanding, Utah
Will caught this Walleye Fish. Named because of their unique eye's.

Our "Girls" first Get Together in the "City By The Bay"

Our traditional breakfast @ the Cliff House. Yummy seafood omelet!
The highlight of our trip was going to "Wicked" It was a wonderfully, delightful musical.

Revisiting the Pumpkin Patch in Half Moon Bay---30 Years later! As little girls, Ann & Amy would roam around the pumpkin patch and sit on them, trying to find the perfect one!
Where has all the time gone? My girls have grown up and have babies of their own!

Mike's 1st Homecoming

Mike made and decorated the cake himself.
For homecoming you wear green if you are available. Yellow if you think you might be asked and red if you have a date. Mike decorated this shirt which read: Heatha Featha, you are TAKEN! He asked Heather Bunderson.
This was Heather's answer: Mike, don't be blue, of course I will go to Homecoming with you!
There were blue balloons and streamers all over our front yard.
Homecoming is October 10th for Centennial.

Western High School

This is the new Western High School. I have been teaching here since the school year began this year. The school is very nice. Quite different from the days Will, Ann, Amy, Matt, & Jeff went there.
This is the new open quad where the old classrooms use to be
This is the walkway to the new Gym & Theatre.
One of the original staircases where Will, Ann, Amy, Matt, & Jeff walked!
The 2001 State Basketball Championship flag Matt helped win.
This is the last time Western has taken STATE.
In the Library all the graduating classes are displayed.
Yes, Will, Ann, Amy, and Matt are there
Each class has a Mosaic representative of their graduating year
This is the Mosaic of Will's class in 1971 with "Uncle Sam"
